Imagine getting paid millions to publish your journal to a melody — sharing your heartbreak, angst, frustration, fear, etc., with anxiously awaiting fans. I dare say it’s the dream of most poets I know, including me.

But Swift fame? Hard pass! As Taylor brilliantly points out in her gothic rendition of Clara Bow, the price of fame is too high. That goes double for introverted creatives who need an alter ego just to get on stage.
